Window Cleaning in Grand Rapids Michigan Today

Welcome to Award WIndow Cleaning  Blog...

The weather has not been good so far this week. Got blown off at the JW Marriott yesterday. High rise window cleaning in Grand Rapids can be very trying due to the weather conditions. The Grand River seems to channel the wind down the river banks. Safety is the major concern but at the same time we have to worry about the wind blowing dirty water on a section of glass we cleaned the day or so before. The last thing we want is to have dirty water falling on our clean windows we worked so hard to detail and make look good.

Starting with my cup of coffee at home flipping channels to get a weather report that might help me with today's scheduled work. It looked like rain on its way at first. Then as I got to the down town area early this am just to check out the conditions by the Grand River. Moving then to my office checking all my wind reports and the radar. The radar has rain to the east and breaking up as it moves on Grand Rapids. Finely deciding to go for the JW Marriott to see if we can get a drop in or two. This as the winds circle through.

Looks like we are going to have warmer temps and less wind for tomorrow. Have to split up the crew as Two hangers are going North to Traves City for some work.

Have a Great Day.
