Spring Is On It's Way

Hello All

Getting back in the swing of things here after a great time in New Orleans for the IWCA Forum & Showcase. I always come back with excitement for the new season and how to implement the new things I learned from seminars and networking with friends old and new.

This year was special for me as at the ending banquet I accepted my plaque for three years of participation on the IWCA Board of Director, and was inducted as the new IWCA Secretary. I look forward to being the secretary and the challenges it will bring. Also serving on the executive committee and all the other committees I am also serving on.
I enjoy being on the Board of Directors and giving input on how window washers see and do things.

While I was attending the convention in New Orleans, Ryan Spaulding, one of my high rise window cleaners, was certified as a Level 1 Rope Access Technician through the Society of Professional Rope Access Technicians (SPRAT). Ryan is now going to be Award Window Cleaning's high rise supervisor. Both him and I are very excited about this certification.

Although the air outside on this Monday afternoon is cool, the sun is beating down and it makes me anxious for spring. We've been able to get some extra work done this winter due to the fact that we haven't had much snow. As of now, I'm trying to get all of my "ducks in a row" so we can leap strong into the 2012 window washing season.

I plan to post here more this year and for any one that reads here I hope you have a wonderful Spring, Summer and all of 2012.

I cant wait to see my first Robin to officially welcome in spring,

THINK SPRING!!!!!!!!

Here's a little picture of what we're looking forward to!
